  • The Falcon Northwest TLX gets a perfect 5/5 review on G4TV's Attack of the Show

Our TLX laptop earns our fourth straight perfect 5/5 score from AOTS!

The guys at Falcon Northwest really know what they’re doing. I have fallen in love with these machines and I’m going to say… I just might get rid of my Apple for this.

Matt Mira and guest host, Dr. Who's John Barrowman, interrupt their Thanksgiving dinner to review our TLX thin and light laptop. To fully understand the depths of Matt's praise for it, it helps to know he used to work at an Apple store as a "genius" technician.  He shocked his co-hosts.  And then some drunken Scottish revelry with John's parents ensues!  Check out the video.

    Mighty Small

the Tiki - a small, powerful and surprisingly affordable gaming machine

PC Gamer gives the Tiki a score of 91 and Editor's Choice!  Gamer chose a sub-$2,000 configuration of the Tiki to see just how well it could game, with a focus on how it would compare to consoles in a living room.  The verdict: "This compact and powerful system makes the perfect addition to any living room gaming setup."

The Tiki gets recommended on AOTS' Holiday Gift Guide. And Dr. Who's John Barrowman really likes it.

I am taking this home because I love this.

The Tiki that got a perfect 5/5 review recently from Attack of the Show got another recommendation on their Holiday Gift Guide segment.  This time, sporting one of our Exotix paintjobs - Oriental Blue Candy with our "cloud" effect.  The candy paintjob evidently looked too good not to taste for guest host John Barrowman...

Tiki gets a "salute" from review site Soldier Knows Best

    I really like it

Soldier Knows Best is a video review channel on YouTube that covers all sorts of gadgets, and a lot of Apple equipment. We were honored they chose the Tiki to be their first PC review! Soldier gave the Tiki props for its quiet operation, smooth gameplay, and tiny size (even compared it to his Mac here). Check out the video!

Tiki Scores Our 3rd Perfect 5/5 on Attack of the Show!

    That's like so many Gigahertz!

Comedian Michael Ian Black and Nerdist Matt Mira make another hilarious "Gadget Pr0n" segment for Attack of the show, this time with only a small amount of screeching Falcons.  The Tiki racks up our 3rd straight 5/5 score at AOTS, along with last year's perfect FragBox score, and the previous year's perfect score for the Talon in their gaming PC head-head competition.  For a look at the Tiki (and a good laugh), check out the video!

Neowin rates the Tiki a 9.0!

we love the Falcon Northwest Tiki

Windows-centric site Neowin.net took a look at the Tiki and loved its unique case, performance, and our customer support.  And they really loved the Tiki's look: "Simply put, the Tiki is one of the best looking PC systems we have ever seen in our lives, and we have seen a lot."

The "stupidly fast and small" Tiki gets a Kick Ass! product award

The Tiki crushed the X51 in all of our performance tests by double digits, and in one- Stalker:CoP - by triple digits.

Maximum PC magazine took a look at an absolutely maxed out Tiki, with FOUR TERABYTES of storage, including a terabyte of SSDs in RAID 0!  The diminutive Tiki managed to beat their new $14,000, 8-core Xeon CPU based Dream Machine in 2 of the 6 benchmarks.  Or as their editors magnanimously put it "[Tiki] managed to spank the Dream Machine 2012 in the tests that don't stress cores".  Not bad for the "the fastest tiny machine we've ever tested."

"Falcon Northwest Proves Micro Desktops Don't Have to Cut Corners"

If, however, you want a compact show piece that delivers excellent gaming performance, choosing the Tiki is an easy decision. It looks great, packs a punch (at a cost), and is reasonably priced for the level of performance and quality of design.

Gamespot doesn't cover PC hardware that often.  They don't rate hardware with scores, or even have a hardware section.  But the Tiki was too intruiging a product for them to pass up, and they gave it a thorough work-out and a great write-up.  Their editor chose his own Nvidia GTX 670-based configuration for a nice blend of price & performance.

  • Digital Trends
    July 2012
The Tiki is Digital Trends Highest Rated Desktop, scoring 9.5/10 and Editor's Choice!

Falcon Northwest sets a new standard in high-end desktops with the small but surprisingly powerful Tiki.

Digital Trends gave the Tiki a workout and came away impressed:  "The Tiki is one heck of a rig. It’s attractive, it’s fast, it’s easy to work with and it’s relatively quiet. Falcon Northwest’s Mach V might have the potential for better performance, and the Talon may be a better value. But the Tiki is clearly the company’s best product. The Tiki is, in fact, one of the best boutique computers on the market today."
