So, in sum, my experience with Falcon Northwest-the sales staff, support/tech staff, computer quality-has been uniformly excellent. Kudos to all.
Falcon Northwest,
I have been a Dell customer for many years, but became dissatisfied with the quality of their products and services. The last 2 computers I purchased from Dell had problems, getting through to customer or technical support involved long waits on the line and then when I did get through, it was often to a person who couldn't answer my questions or solve the problem. So, when I needed to get a new computer, I started shopping around online, checking out various computers through their websites.
The website at Falcon Northwest attracted my attention because it was so well laid out. I liked being able to see pictures of the components and havings blurbs of information available on each and I really liked being able to save various configurations, so if I decided to change some component/s in a configuration I didn't have to start all over again. I also noticed that the components were top-quality and the latest available, so after settling on what I felt was the best configuration, I called Falcon Northwest. Within 2 minutes, I was talking to an individual knowledgeable about computers. He downloaded my configuration, asked me about what I used the computer for, and then went though each of my choices, answering any questions I had. He never made me feel that he was trying to sell me any component; instead, he just told me about the advantages and disadvantages of my choices. I called again the next day, and again, got quickly through and my questions answered. That night I placed my order.
My computer arrived about 2 weeks later and I was very impressed by the quality-it was well-designed and built and runs much quieter and cooler than the Dells I have had before. The only problem I encountered was with the Logitech Air mouse I ordered-something was defective in either the charger base or the mouse itself as I couldn't get it to charge. Called Falcon Northwest, quickly got through to tech support, and they easily determined that the mouse was defective. The tech guy said he would get another one, check to make sure it would charge, and send it out to me that day. If it worked okay, send the other one back. I couldn't ask for any better response than that.
So, in sum, my experience with Falcon Northwest-the sales staff, support/tech staff, computer quality-has been uniformly excellent. Kudos to all.
Sincerely,
Thomas Carzolli, MD
