This is by far the best computer I have ever owned.
Dear Falcon Northwest,
I wanted to let you know how impressed I have been with Falcon Northwest. I would classify myself as a computer enthusiast, not a gamer. I do a lot of word processing, data manipulation(mostly excel), e-mailing, surfing, photo editing, and some video editing. I have followed Falcon Northwest for quite some time in the various computer magazines such as PC World and noticed the many highly rated reviews. When it became time for my pc purchase I talked to several of the boutique pc manufactures. I was a bit concerned that some of these "boutiques" would not be interested in my business because I was not a gamer. That was not the case with the sales department at Falcon Northwest. They were extremely knowledgeable, very low key, and not high pressure. As I am sure you are aware, these qualities are quite rare in the consumer computer manufacturing business. I was also quite impressed with the 2 sales people I delt with, Brian and Jacob. They would carefully ask me what I did with my computer and what programs I ran. They actually took time to find out how I use a computer before they tried to sell me anything. With that information, they helped me create a pc that fit my needs, specifically. Brian and Jacob would give me their honest and very knowledgeable opinion as to what options fit my needs. If an option was overkill and added additional cost to my system they would recommend something cheaper. What a unique idea, sell me what I need and not a lot of extra stuff that I will not use and just to run up the price. Again, we all know that type of sales experience is rare with any product these days. Kudos to the sales department, you guys have figured it out!!!
What can I say about the craftsmanship. One word... Superb! I have never seen a computer assembled with such attention to detail. The individual components are top notch. This kind of attention to detail is exactly why I chose Falcon Northwest.
About the service. I have already made several calls to your tech support for help in setting up my system. The service people (Matthew) were extremely prompt and very knowledgeable with regard to my problems. They provided quick and accurate answers to my questions, a rarity in tech support these days. Not being a computer genius myself, the tech support was patient while guiding me through the necessary steps. I was quite impressed with their willingness to help with hardware peripherals that were not purchased from Falcon Northwest, i.e. monitors, printers, etc. It can be frustrating for someone who is not a computer expert to assemble all the components of a new system and make them all work together. Your tech support went out of their way to help get the system together and make it work... well. I was also very appreciative of their very practical advice with regard to getting all my documents, music, photos etc transferred and set up properly.
This is by far the best computer I have ever owned. You guys have hit on something very unique. I am sold on Falcon Northwest, I won't be shopping anywhere else!!!
Being a busy emergency medicine physician, I needed a fast and professional sales and tech support staff to help me. I wanted a higher end, higher performance PC that was customized for my specific needs. Falcon Northwest does all of the above, extremely well.
My only suggestion is one of marketing. I understand your customer base is the serious gamers. I would think there a number of professionals, such as myself, that are looking for a "higher end" customized PC, with professional sales and support staff. I think that group of people would be very interested in your product. You might consider how to market to that group of people. I bet there is more business there than you think.
