Part paint color, part painting technique, the color we call "Hematite" is one of the most beautiful we've done.  Its cloudlike effect reminds some of hammered metal, or pewter, or the metallic stone for which it is named.  While not a prismatic paint, it tends to change color with the level of light.  Bright silver in direct light, to an almost charcoal color in indirect.  Unlike most colors, hematite actually looks its best in low light, with more of the cloudlike effect coming thru.  This Mach V was done with slightly faded Falcon logos that provide a softer, more subtle contrast to this elegant paint theme.
